Livingstone is located on the first floor of a building in the center of Matera, just a few steps from the Sassi. On the same floor, you’ll find the entrances to the B&B, with the Paris, London, and New York rooms, and Livingstone Home, the property’s independent apartment.
A convenient setup for large families or groups of friends: you can choose different accommodations while all staying within the same building.
The three rooms offer a B&B formula with breakfast included, while Livingstone Home has a fully equipped kitchen and is designed for those who prefer to organize their stay with more independence.

I like to welcome people without too much formality. I can recommend where to eat, what to see, how to get around, or simply where to start. Every guest arrives in Matera with different schedules and ideas: my job is to try to make your stay as simple and pleasant as possible.

Our breakfast
For guests in Paris, London, and New York, breakfast is included and is served in the Livingstone breakfast room.
A rich selection of sweets and a variety of local products: milk, coffee, tea and herbal teas, yogurt, cereals, fruit, juices, rusks, jams, tarts, pound cake, biscuits, Matera bread, and peanut butter.
Livingstone Home does not include breakfast, but features a fully equipped kitchen to organize your meals in complete autonomy.
